Description
This one-day course is designed to help participants to identify workplace hazards, apply effective measures to control or eliminate hazards, and develop safe work procedures.
The course consists of four modules:

Who Should Attend
This course is intended for construction industry workers, new supervisors, joint health and safety committee members, worker health and safety representatives, and business owners or operators who wish to improve healthy and safety knowledge in their workplace.
Benefits
After completing the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify workplace hazards
- Develop safe work procedures and corrective measures to control hazards
- Apply the process of identification, control and evaluation to eliminate hazards or reduce risks specific to the construction industry

Course Requirements
This one-day (eight hour) course qualifies as a CSABC Certificate of Recognition (COR) Program elective.
