Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) for Workers
To reduce the number of accidents and injuries in BC’s construction industry, employers must ensure that all workers are trained in basic workplace safety. The Construction Safety Training System assists employers by offering flexible training options. CSTS equips workers with practical skills and proven prevention strategies to stay safe on the job. That’s what makes it one of the leading programs offered by CSABC.
Description
Delivered through an interactive multimedia and video system, this program consists of 12 training modules. The program is designed to provide individual workers with a solid base of knowledge about workplace safety. The emphasis is on workplace hazards and how to avoid them. Participants watch narrated video clips of construction sites and common hazards, and are guided through the correct response in each situation. Computer-based training allows participants to learn at their own pace and to test their knowledge through interactive questions and scenarios.
The CSTS program is divided into 12 training modules. Each lesson includes a study session, review and test.
